The posting board
TR 54.7.7 asks for a board near the finish where athletes and spectators can see the red cards. This is that board, on a screen. It updates as soon as a red card arrives, needs no login, and shows only what the rule allows.
What it shows
| 18 | ~<~~ | DQ |
| 41 | <~~ | IN PENALTY ZONE |
| 72 | ~~< | TO PENALTY ZONE |
| 63 | < |
| Shown | Never shown |

Only athletes with at least one red card, or a disqualification, appear. A chief judge's last-100 m disqualification (TR 54.4.1) shows as DQ; its card isn't shown as a square, because the board carries the walking judges' red cards.
Opening it
The quickest way: press Public board in the top bar of the chief judge's or recorder's board, or on the meet in administration. It opens in a new tab.
The address has one of two forms, and you can copy it onto any screen or share it freely:
| Address | Shows |
|---|---|
…/board.html?meet=3 | The whole meet. Every race that's under way, each under its own heading. Use this for a venue screen, especially when two races run at once. |
…/board.html?race=12 | One race. |
Both start with https://racewalk.deltasportstechnology.com. The numbers are the
meet's and race's own, and the Public board button fills them in for you.
Before, during and after the race
- Before the start, a meet board says No race is currently under way. It fills in by itself once the race is started; nobody needs to touch the screen.
- During the race, each race with no red cards yet shows No red cards.
- After the race is closed, it drops off the meet board, just as the physical board comes down once the result is official. A single-race board stays up, marked race closed, result final.
- If a race is reopened, it comes back on the meet board.
- Voided cards disappear and lifted disqualifications are removed straight away, because the board always shows the current record.
Setting up a venue screen
- Use any laptop, PC or smart TV with a web browser, connected to the internet (or the venue network, if the system runs on a laptop there).
- Open the meet board address.
- Make it full screen: F11 on Windows, Ctrl+Cmd+F on a Mac.
- Turn off screen sleep and screensavers on that device.
The board updates instantly while connected. If the connection drops, it checks again every 20 seconds and catches up by itself.
When something goes wrong
| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| No race is currently under way. | The race hasn't been started yet, or has been closed. Ask the administrator or chief judge. |
| A race you expected is missing from the meet board | It's been closed. Use its single-race address if you still want it on screen. |
| The board looks out of date | Reload the page. If that doesn't help, check the device's internet connection. |
| Instructions about ?meet=ID appear instead of a board | The address is missing the meet or race number. Use the Public board button to get the full address. |
